　　感謝主，卅多年來，這本討論聖經倫理的書在世界各地被使用，作為教科書或自修的閱讀。這本書如此長壽，是筆者當初著書時沒有預料到的。

　　為什麼再一次有新版面世？這一版主要的增修是收錄了內人周一心博士所撰寫的兩篇生命倫理的文章，一篇討論人工生殖科技，另一篇討論胚胎幹細胞研究。近年來生物醫療科技的進展帶給整個社會不少的倫理衝擊。納入這兩篇文章，讓本書的內容能追得上時代，更增色不少。增訂的文詞風格有些改善；這也要歸功於內人。除了這些以外，筆者在不同的地方稍有內容的修訂或補充，都不是大幅度的修改，不能一一細說。謝謝莊美善姊妹的打字；因為她的效率，這本書能及時在我卸任中華福音神學院院長職位之前完成。

　筆者的禱告是，願《信望愛：聖經倫理學導論》的增訂版能被主所用，幫助基督徒在不同的處境中，遵行救主的旨意，成全愛神與愛鄰舍的心願。

作者以信望愛為範疇，從準則、處境與動機三個角度來探討基督教倫理。

藉救恩歷史解答困擾我們的倫理問題；也以坦然的態度面對如祭祖、安樂死等

易引起爭論的難題。文中並討論中國人所關懷的忠、孝、從、恕等觀點，且

有信徒親身經歷為實例。

雖是導論性質，但涵蓋範圍很廣。尤其新版在內容結構上有不少更改與補充，

也添加不少註腳，所以雖是舊書再版，仍是有心研究聖經倫理學的讀者值得

一讀的好書。
