威斯敏斯特神學院（Westminster Theological Seminary）道學碩士，英國劍橋大學（Cambridge University, England）哲學博士。曾任教於愛丁堡大學（University of Edinburgh, 1990-98）與惠頓學院暨研究所（Wheaton College and Graduate School, 2008-11）。除了上述兩段時間，自1986年迄今，皆任教於三一福音神學院（Trinity Evangelical Divinity School），現為系統神學研究教授。
