Richard B. Gaffin, Jr. is a Westminster Seminary Professor of Biblical and Systematic Theology (Emeritus). Dr. Gaffin was born to missionaries to China. He received a B.A. from Calvin College (1958). He received a B.D. (1961), Th.M. (1962), and Th.D. (1969) from Westminster Theological Seminary, and undertook graduate studies at Georg-August University of Göttingen (1962-1963). He began teaching at Westminster in 1965. He is on the conservative side of the faculty. He is one of the most influential ministers in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. All of his books are clear, and well worth reading.
