妻子是馬克辛（Maxine），有五個子女，十二個孫子。
1977年接受按牧，在澳洲的威瓦（Wee Waa）教區牧會六年。
在澳洲艾士非長老教會（Ashfield Presbyterian Church）牧會四年。
1986-2011擔任雪梨宣教及聖經學院院長；目前擔任長老會總會的調解員，雪梨中國長老教會的教牧助理。
每年有六個月到全世界做巡迴宣教。
